Trainee Branch Supervisor (x3 positions) – FSG Limited

FSG Limited is Botswana’s leading funeral services provider with 20 branches across Botswana and with significant presence in South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Purpose of the job:

To coordinate and ensure smoother day-to-day operation and robustly promote company’s business.

Successful candidates will be expected to:

• Ensure proper conduct of funerals and delivery of exceptional customer service;
• Ensure branch opening and closing times are adhered to;
• Ensure all electrical and mechanical assets are accounted for and fully functional at all times;
• Monitor movement of bodies and ensure funeral schedules are adhered to;
• Monitor vehicle movements, fuel consumption and usage, updating of log-books and compliance with vehicle maintenance schedule.
• Reconcile sales invoices and collection at the end of every day and ensure deposits are done accordingly;
• Manage all aspects of funeral insurance segment of the business at the branch;
• Manage stock and oversee the selling of company products and services;
• Provide complete details on the performance of the branch on a monthly basis in the form of a written report;
• Manage branch staff on a day-to-day basis;
• Manage relationships with various stakeholders and customers in the region.

• Minimum O level or higher.
• Minimum of three (3) years operational work experience of which one year should be supervisory in nature.
• A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.

• Ability to facilitate and impart knowledge through training;
• Assertive, pro-active, innovative and result-oriented.
• Ability to make good and timely business decisions;
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, etc.).
