Tebelopele Voluntary Counselling and Testing Centre (TVCTC) is a non- governmental organisation providing HIV/AIDS and related services across the country. The organisation has 18 Centres and offers HIV-SRH integrated health services in select locations and outreach services to remote areas.

PHLEBOTOMIST x6 – LETLHAKANE (SIX WEEKS)

OVERALL PURPOSE
• To ensure proper specimen collection from patients by adhering to health and safety standards as per the clinical laboratory manuals in order to yield accurate results.

COMPETENCIES
• Ability to adhere to the laboratory services manuals protocols for handling, labelling and documenting specimens.
• Must ensure that proper specimen receipt procedures have been followed and that requested tests are properly logged into the laboratory information management System.
• Should maintain accurate complete records Of specimen collected. received. processed and stored.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Certificate in Phlebotomy or equivalent qualification
• 1 year experience
