ABM University College invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the Business Development Manager position tenable at its offices in Gaborone.
Reporting to the Vice Chancellor, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying potential new markets and business opportunities as well as increasing the institution’s market share through various diversification portfolios.

- Formulates business development plans and programmes and prepares a supporting product range delivery budget.
- Explore business opportunities and ventures that would benefit the institution and establish other revenue streams
- Implements and coordinates marketing and business plans aimed at meeting the business development goals and objectives of different portfolios
- Promotes and manages the identity and visibility of ABMUC- brand awareness, understanding and acceptance by local and international stakeholders
- Explores effective strategic partnerships and memberships that would enhance the ABMUC brand.
- Leads product/service development initiatives aimed at satisfying unfulfilled needs in the market
- Position each of the institution’s product line by maintaining high competitiveness.
- Attends and contributes service to institutional committees.
Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Strategic Management/Marketing. Possession of a Masters in either Business Administration/Management or Strategic Management will be an added advantage. Candidates must have 5 years demonstrated business development experience at managerial level.
