SERVICE MANAGER (GROUP)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Dealer Principal the incumbent will be required to:

• Manage the service departments as per Barloworid Motor

Retail and manufacturer requirements

• Control varied activities at an optimal pace to achieve required targets
• Ensure service CSI targets are met
• Arrange and monitor work flow and capacity in the department on a daily basis
• Manage the frontline and administrative staff, ensuring all functions operate at optimum levels
• Ensure good relationships with the manufacturer, customers, new vehicle sales and parts departments
• Implement and maintain value adding processes in the service departments.
• Motivate, inspire and develop Service Managers and depart­mental staff.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• BGCSE/O level and relevant Automotive – technical and after sales tertiary education certification
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Autoline and diagnostics)
• Proven track record in the service environment (at least 10 years’ service management experience with multi franchise exposure)
• Drivers licence
