Artisan Mechanic

• The required person is responsible for the troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a variety of Super Rock Drill rigs, Atlas Copco compressors (XRV Series) and various company vehicles.
• Knowledge of Cummins, Deutz and D20 Common Rail engines as well as ServoShift and ZF transmissions is required. The required person will also be responsible for maintenance of company heavy fleet including Isuzu, M.A.N TGA Series, Mercedes Benz, Renault and FAW as well as light duty vehicles.

Minimum Requirements

• National Craft Certificate- Heavy Plant or equivalent with in depth knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
• Ability to read hydraulic drawings and troubleshooting on hydraulic lines

Experience must include commissioning, service and maintenance of heavy plants on site

• Class B Driving license
• Have own comprehensive Tool Kit
• Prepared to work contops shifts
• Knowledge of OHS standards
