Security Supervisor (x7 Positions) – Kanto Metal ( Salary upto P8000 Pula)

Kanto Metal is a local branch of international recycling holding corporation Omega Blanco.Kanto Metal a fully registered and licensed electronic components and auto spare parts recycling business.

Kanto Metal is located in an industrial area in Gabarone West, Botswana.We are solely fixated in recycling used and condemned electronic printed circuit boards, processors, integrated circuits, ceramics from auto parts. Main business activity is processing locally bought materials and exporting in order to reuse those commodities. We have partners in Asia and Europe, vacancy has arisen at our main office for a Security Supervisor with the following criteria required for the ideal person.

Job Title: Security Supervisor (7 Position Vacant)

Location: Based in Botswana

Age:                   30-40

Salary           ($6000-8000) PULA commensurate with experience and qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years experience in managerial position.
• University Degree in (management/risk/operations/Security)
• At least basic accounting Knowledge.
• Experience in Loss control is an added advantage
• Knowledge of Industry, production, processing environment security systems
• Detail Oriented

Summary of Job Description.

• Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff including security guards and desk clerks.
• Prepares and conducts training for new hires and current staff including training on workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and related safety and security checks •Provides and implements security and security protocols for all assigned facilities and information systems.
• Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors.
• Provides specialized security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory areas, network equipment areas, and employee files and confidential records.
• Conducts regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities.
• Where government projects are involved, serves as a liaison to government agencies concerning project security; assists with security clearance processing for employees working on government classified programs.
