VACANCY : LEAD ENGINEER PRODUCTION & DISTRIBUTION X 2

Applications are invited for suitably qualified members of the pubic to fill the position of Lead Engineer Production and Distribution based in Ramotswa and Hukuntsi

Position Purpose

The position is responsible for providing planning, maintenance and engineering services for potable water, wastewater, infrastructure development extension, improvement. It sets the direction for all operation and monitoring of potable and wastewater system to ensure compliance to quality statutes, provides guidance on water supply demand management, non-revenue water, and customer satisfaction in responsibility. The role directs Management of water resources, potable water and wastewater treatment processes, network operation, maintenance, upgrade as well as customer connections management. The role is also is responsible for the overall functionality and reliability of assets and equipment to ensure continuity of water supply in the most cost effective and environmentally safe manner

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil. Water. Mechanical. Electrical, or C&l Engineering
• Registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB)
• Vaid Practicing Certificate
• Vaid Driver’s license is added advantage
• A minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in wide range of engineering activities in a water utilities industry, including three (3) years management experience in an environment with similar level of complexity.

Renumeration

Salary:     An attractive Salary Package

Commensurate to the market

Leave:     30 working days per annum
