MINING ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To deliver quality assurance and quality control activities to the drilling and blasting program through drill parameter design, blasting parameter design, as well as monitoring and review to optimize on quality related issues. The incumbent must also review all drilling and blasting data and compare against contract agreement or Client’s plan.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in Mining environment, 2 of which must have worked in Drilling Supervision.
• Membership of a professional body.
• Blasting license
