COVID 19 – NURSES (x5 positions) – Humana People to People

Humana People to People through the partnership with FHI 360 is implementing the COVID 19 Project. The project is implemented in Kweneng East District and Greater Francistown.

Humana People to People is seeking for the services of the following positions:

Job opportunity: COVID 19 – NURSES (x 5) Kweneng East and Francistown – Contract

Specific responsibilities include:

• Have to ensure that all patients acquire personalized, high-quality services irrespective of their infectious condition
• Must maintain effective supply and usage of sanitation materials and personal protective equipment and offer screening information, confinement guidelines, and triage protocols based on the latest guidance.
• Provide TA in establishment and maintenance of community adherence groups and other social networks for supporting COVID 19 patients
• Liaise with facilities for referral of clients from the community with COVID 19 symptoms in collaboration with District Managers and CHWs
• Support teams doing Community screening with initiations where need has been established.
• Support families with COVD 19 patients with prevention services such as education and any other needs
• Support CHWs with TA for the delivery of the compliance approach to clients.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by HPP management

Qualification and Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Nursing
• At least 1 years working experience in GOB or NGOs locally in an COVID 19 related field
• Trained in COVID 19 approach
• Registered with the Botswana Nursing Council
• Able to develop training material for CHWs and other cadres
• Experience in collaboration with community development agencies including social networks for patients
• Ability to lead and supervise subordinates
• Experience in monitoring and reporting on COVID 19 response activities
• Experience in using word, excel and power point
