Assistant Worker: (P3,500pm) – Development & Management Investments (Pty) Ltd

TWO VEGETABLE GARDEN and PROPERTY MAINTENANCE WORKERS URGENTLY REQUIRED In Maru-a-Pula area by Development & Management Investments (Pty) Ltd, (“DMI”) to manage a property and grow organic fruits, herbs and vegetables. DMI is an Investment and property-owning company which, Inter alia, produces organic vegetables and foods for the promotion of a plant-based, healthy lifestyle.

Assistant Worker: (P3,500pm)

0 Harvest, wash, fan dry and package leafy vegetables

0 Harvest, clean, tie and dehydrate herbs

0 Deadhead, prune and stake vegetables and herbs, collect and store seed

0 Prune fruit trees and ornamentals

0 Regularly weed vegetable beds, trim edges and mulch soil

0 Assist with seed propagation and planting out

0 Keep canine quarters clean and sanitary

0 Breed and deploy earthworms and organic fertilizers

0 Mix and spray organic pest control liquids

0 Pickling, bottling, preparation and preserving of vegetables

0 Sanitize, stock and organise walk-in cold room, chest freezers and refrigerators

55 hour working week. 1 rest day per week. 18 days paid leave per annum, summer and winter uniforms and performance bonuses provided. Must have own accommodation, get to and from work independently and be prepared to work hard. We seek trustworthy, reliable individuals in excellent health, experienced with dogs, property maintenance and organic crop production.
