Our client in Botswana’s outsourcing sector seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join their team. The ideal candidate will be based in Gaborone and responsible for providing comprehensive support to the financial planning team based in the UK. The Paraplanner will assist in preparing financial plans, conducting research, analysing information, and developing recommendations to meet their client’s financial goals. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for financial planning are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with financial advisors as an administrator to analyse client information and assist in preparing financial plans.
• Research investments, products, and financial market trends to support planning.
• Prepare reports and recommendations based on information gathered by the Financial Advisor during client meetings.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service and support to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in financial planning, investment management, or a related role would be advantageous but not essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
