The company is looking for services of Category Buyers to be based at its Head Office in Gaborone:

You will need to demonstrate:

• 5+ years’ experience working in an FMCG industry.
• Expertise to radically improve the organisation’s bottom-line, where you successfully manage a large and profitable category in the entire Choppies business concentrating on the Foods Category for its stores.
• Build successful relationships across the board with all commercial suppliers (direct liaison between buyer and suppliers).
• Leadership style is one of innovation and motivational, cultivating inventive thinking and energising and engaging individuals and teams, by creating an inspired, rewarding and involved culture.

Qualifications & Skills

• Effective negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.
• Ability to Plan, Coordinate, and Implement operational activities.
• Computer literacy
