Bandsaw Operator

We have an immediate opening for a Full Time Band Saw Operator.

Based in Francistown.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with saws and related equipment
• MUST be able to ACCURATELY read engineering drawings
• MUST have mechanical experience and knowledge of metals and fabrication – steel preferred
• MUST be able to ACCURATELY read a tape measurement & set up saw stops
• Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities of this job
• Must be self-disciplined and motivated and have the ability to work with the minimum of supervision

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operation of bandsaw
• Stage cut material for fabrication.
• Basic maintenance, cleaning of saws & sanders, replacement of saw blade
• Inspect and ensure the quality of the parts produced.
