Bolux Group requires the services of a qualified, experienced

BAKERY DISPATCH SUPERVISOR

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you shall have the responsibility to oversee the safe and efficient dispatching, receiving, handling and distribution of products as per customer orders.

Your principal responsibilities shall include the following:

• Monitor records of daily log of all dispatch activities and ensure documentation required is recorded accurately.
• Ensure availability of documentation to end users and management in the form of reports.
• Supervise delivery of all products in the correct quantities and at the right time as per customer orders.
• Adhere to and implement labelling, coding, and wrapping standards as per the Factory’s Act.
• Assess delivery schedules and implement corrective action and improvements according to the Sales orders.
• Undertake daily inspections of delivery vehicles before loading to ensure that Food Hygiene Standards are met.
• Analyse documentation distributed by Bakery Sales Drivers in order to track accuracy and generate reports.
• Ensure finished products are correctly labelled in the Warehouse so that “FIFO” (First In First Out) practice in adequately adhered to.
• Spearhead the maintenance of safe loading and safe stacking standards.
• Ensure high quality and good housekeeping standards are maintained at the Dispatch Warehouse and Loading Bay.
• Supervise proper replacement and verification of damaged goods.
• Participate actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs in order to contribute to company compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate should have at least five (5) years experience in a similar position, and a Degree in Warehouse and Operations Management, Transport and Logistics Management or related field. Knowledge of ACCPAC and Excel is crucial.
