MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN – Nutri Feeds Botswana

Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd t/a Nutri Feeds Botswana require the services of an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Electrician at their Animal Feed Mill in Pilane. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Install, service, calibrate and repair all electrical apparatus as per the applicable standards
• Attend to call outs after hours
• Do electrical fault finding
• Perform routine inspections on MCC, panels etc and report non conformance
• Perform all scheduled tasks on electrical apparatus
• Compliance to Pragma system
• Identify value adding projects
• Be an effective member of a project team
• Ensuring safety and communicate electrical risks to manager
• Supervise and monitor electrical apprentices
• Maintain all electrical drawings
• Safekeeping and maintain machine manuals
• Do accurate and comprehensive feedback on completed job cards

The prospective candidate must possess the following attributes

• Must be dynamic, flexible and have sound technical skills.
• Able to work in shifts
• Sound communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• NCC electrical course/4-year Apprenticeship or any other related credentials.
• Must be computer literate
• Valid Class B Driver’s licence.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a large manufacturing environment with specific experience in a Feed Mill or Mining environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance management software (PRAGMA) will be an added advantage
