PLANT SUPERVISOR – MP MINING

Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Shift Coordinator, the Plant Supervisor  will be responsible for planning, organising and controlling sectional activities within an area of responsibility in order to achieve daily, weekly and monthly production targets while maintaining a high standards of safety within area of responsibility.

Job Responsibilities

• Leads and control day-to-day activities by optimally deploying production resources allocated to the section.
• Operates the plant section within the set parameters to ensure effective process specification and monitors progress through periodic communication with Shift Coordinator and other plant sections.
• Implement the section handover process by reviewing the section operational plan and progress.
• Experience in milling, floatation, thickening and filtration will be an added advantage.
• Conduct general inspections of area of responsibility as per standard procedures.
• Total compliance to SHEA company standards.

Requirements

• BGCSE
• At least 6 years work experience, of which 3 must be at supervisory level.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Supervisory skills.
