Position: Hydraulic Hose Maker

Reporting to: HOD Stores Manager

Standard hours: 07h30–17h00: Monday – Friday

JOB DUTIES:

• Assists and enables in assembling hydraulic hose parts or components.
• Cuts, fits, and assembles hose and hose fittings and inspects or tests completed assembly.
• Ensures proper inventory is maintained by counting and reordering.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
• Able to maintain min. and max. stock quantities.
• Experience in using hand measuring and marking tools with the ability to measure and mark correctly and consistently according to drawings.
• Able to use initiative to predict problems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Be organised and keep their work area neat and tidy.
