HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER(TEMPORARY) – MP Mining

Job Description

To handle a variety of personnel related administrative duties, but not limited to giving out information, implementation of an excellent employee oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes staff empowerment.

• Handle recruitment and selection processes
• Handle all employee complaints and grievances
• Leave management
• Staff welfare issues
• Payroll administration
• Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Audit and verify accuracy of data and ensures maintenance of the database systems which incorporates payrolls, change of status, manpower statistics.
• Provides management with information pertinent to the Human Resources function to assist with the decision making
• Recommends and incorporates cost savings initiatives into budgets and controls expenditure within approved parameters.
• Adhere to all SHEA Policies and procedures in areas of responsibility

Education

Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent

Experience

• 5 years in a Human Resources environment with experience in recruitment and planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Results-driven and strong in people management and development
• Must be familiar with the Botswana Labour Law.
