SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER-STORES AND ADMINISTRATION

We are looking for a versatile, driven and dynamic individual to join our team as Supply Chain Officer- Stores and Administration who is responsible for sourcing stock items, administration of storerooms, managing delivery of goods and materials, issuing of stationery and uniform, and managing the upkeep of stores in line with company policies and procedures.

Key Activities:

•Ensures compliance to Supply Chain Policy and procedures to ensure that supply chain risks and sourcing of goods and services is undertaken in a cost effective and timely manner.
Ensures compliance to corporate governance requirements, DTCB code of ethics and Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) ethics.
•Performs the activities of the stores receiving section according to set procedures, taking cognizance of safety and accuracy requirements.
•Receives and off-loads goods from suppliers, determining the appropriate off-loading method, e.g., hazardous materials
•Performs the activities of the stores issuing section according to procedures taking cognizance of safety, accuracy, and stock rotation requirements
•Issues and distributes uniform to staff as and when required – both PPE and Corporate wear
•Issues stationery to departments using the completed stationery requisition form.
•Assumes the responsibility for taking periodic inventories of materials and supplies
•Recommends the replenishment of stocks based on established minimum quantities and, where necessary, the modification of storeroom procedures and regulations
•Receives obsolete and unserviceable items from end-users for disposal
•Prepares and compiles a list and report for all items to be disposed
•Arranges and plans for auction sale through stakeholder engagement
•Prepares and arranges Suppliers clearances process for delivery of goods and services
•Engages with end users and prepares security clearances for suppliers site visits

Minimum Requirements:

•Diploma in Supply Chain Management
•Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or equivalent qualification
3 years’ experience in a computerized Supply Chain environment
