Job Title: Accounting Representative – Client Accounting Services (CAS) and Squad Coordinator

Our client, which has offices across Botswana, is seeking a Client Accounting Services and Squad Coordinator to join its dynamic and forward-thinking accounting firm. The firm specializes in providing comprehensive accounting, company secretarial, payroll, and tax solutions to a diverse clientele. Its team is passionate about innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Position Overview: They are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Representative to provide accounting expertise to a portfolio of clients and act as the coordinator of one of their integrated services squads (teams) in the Kasane neighborhood (branch).

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of interim and annual financial statements as well as cashflows for your Squads portfolio of clients
• Collaborate with clients to provide assistance and address accounting-related queries.
• Provide guidance on financial best practices.
• Coordinating the activities of multi-disciplinary services Squad to ensure excellent overall assistance to your clients.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and fellow team mates

Qualifications:

• A member of good standing with BICA
• Qualified/almost qualified ACCA/CA/CIMA
• Be proficient in IFRS and Botswana GAAP as well as have a good grasp of Botswana Tax
• Minimum 3 years of experience in client accounting services.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online as well as Microsoft Office suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Salary and Benefits

• P20 000 – P25 000 DOE
• 50% medical aid on the company-selected scheme.
• Professional Membership Fees.

The successful candidate will be based in Maun and may be required to travel.

Preference will be given to Botswana citizens
