Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) was established to achieve the Government’s economic objectives of ensuring the security of fuel supply, managing government strategic fuel reserves, and facilitating active citizen involvement in the petroleum industry. We are looking for an outstanding and driven individual to take up this exciting and challenging role:

PROJECT MANAGER – GHANZI

The role is responsible for performing project engineering and project management duties in order to ensure proper implementation of plans, designs, and cost estimates related to the construction and maintenance projects of BOL facilities with an emphasis on safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. They manage multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams, including civil, mechanical, process, electrical, control and instrumentation engineers.

3. Engineering Oversight
4. Legal and statutory compliance.
5. HSSEQ & Risk performance.
6. Effective Project budget control.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

Education:   Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and a Project

Management Qualification

Professional/Technical:  Professional registration with the Engineering Registration

Board. Professional Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2 etc).

Experience: Minimum Seven (7) years’ experience in an engineering and technical

environment, 5 (five) of which should have been gained in project management of large scale.

Engineering experience in technology associated with petroleum products will be an added advantage.
