SENIOR GEOSPATIAL ANALYST – T&T Geomatics

Senior Geospatial Analyst

T&T Geomatics invites qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the position of Senior Geospatial Analyst. The successful candidate will lead the Geoinformatics Division, overseeing project implementation and training initiatives, while supporting consultancy and advisory services focused on geospatial process engineering, harmonization, and standardisation.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Information Technology, or a related discipline (preference to domain specialists with a strong GIS background).
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in the GIS industry, with a strong background in design, development, Training implementation, and administration of geospatial solutions.
• Completion of Esri-certified courses, including instructor-led sessions,
• Virtual Campus courses, MOOCs, or certifications in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and data interoperability tools.
• Full member of Botswana Institute of Geomatics

Experience and Requirements

• Expertise in Esri’s Enterprise ArcGIS environment, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and related mobile solutions (e.g., Field Maps, Survey123, Q Field).
• Proficient in working with relational database management systems (minimum:
• MS SQL Server); experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and ArcSDE is advantageous.
• Practical experience with GeoAl, machine learning algorithms, and hydrogeological modelling tools integration.
• Skilled in Python, JavaScript, SQL, R, and Arcade for geospatial scripting and automation.
• Demonstrated ability in spatial database design, data visualization, and dashboard development using tools like Power Bl, ArcGIS Online, and StoryMaps.
• Proficient in FME Desktop and the ArcGIS Data Interoperability Extension.
• Experience with ModelBuilder, ArcPy, GeoEvent Server, and JavaScript APIs.
• Strong skills in GIS portal deployment and configuration, including web mapping and dashboarding solutions (e.g., Experience Builder, Business Analyst, Web AppBuilder, ArcGIS Hub, Scene Viewer).
• Excellent capacity building and training development facilitation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
