DIGITAL CONTENT OFFICER – Botswana Football Association

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Content Development: Produce high-quality editorial content for official websites and apps, focusing on women’s football, to engage a global audience.
2. Match Coverage: Attend and provide comprehensive coverage of women’s football matches, including live reporting, pre- and post-match analysis, and player inter-views.
3. Player and Coach Interviews: Conduct interviews with players and coaching staff to generate feature stories and exclusive content that offer insights into the team dynamics and individual experiences.
4. Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies to promote content, engage with fans, and grow the online presence of women’s football plat-forms.
5. Multimedia Production: Create and edit videos, podcasts, and other multimedia content that highlight key moments, behind-the-scenes activities, and human-interest stories within women’s football.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, communications, and design teams to ensure content aligns with overall branding and promotional objectives.
7. Audience Engagement: Monitor audience feedback and engagement metrics to refine content strategies and better serve the interests of the fan base.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
2. EXPERIENCE: Proven experience in content creation, preferably within sports media. Familiarity with women’s football is highly desirable.
3. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and multimedia editing tools.
4. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with
