NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR – Botswana Railways

Botswana Railways invites Information Technology specialists with a good track record of accomplishment to apply for the position of Network Administrator. This position reports to the Head of Information and Technology.

Main Purpose of the Job:

To design, support, maintain and evaluate computer networking systems including installations, configurations and maintenance of both LAN and Wireless networks, security devices and virtual computer servers while providing support and enhancing satisfaction to internal customers.

Position Requirements

Educational:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information & Communication Technology or related discipline.
• Certification in Cisco, Fortinet, and Microsoft Azure cloud.

Experience:

Three (3) years post-qualification experience working in Microsoft-based network environment.

Cisco networking, HP networks, Fortigate Firewalls, Meraki AP, and NMS/NPM such as Cacti, Nagios or Solarwinds.
