QCQA Coordinator – MP Mining

Job Description

• Coordinate quality control testing and assurance activities across laboratory sections.
• Develop, review, and maintain quality documents (SOPs, work instructions, protocols).
• Oversee proficiency testing, calibration programs, and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Plan and coordinate internal and external quality audits (e.g., ISO 17025 compliance).
• Lead investigations of non-conformances, OOS (Out-of-Specification), and CAPAs.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, ISO 17025, or other relevant laboratory standards.
• Train lab staff on QA procedures, documentation practices, and safety protocols.
• Monitor quality protocols and recommend improvements to laboratory processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science – Chemistry
• Or HND Metallurgical Assaying
• At least 8-years’ experience in a Base Metal Analytical Laboratory
• Experience in an Accredited Laboratory
• Training on ISO 17025 Understanding
• Training on ISO 17025 Auditing
• Training on ISO 17025 Method validation
• Quality control knowledge
