Applications are invited from suitably qualified Botswana citizens for the above position in the Ministry of Lands and Agriculture, tenable at the Department of Animal Production – Charleshill.
– Salary Scale: C4 (P98 152.00 – P117 540.00 per annum)
– Leave Rate: 25 working days per annum
– Qualification: CIPS Level 4, Diploma in Supply and Procurement Management or its equivalent

Main Purpose of the Job:
To efficiently and effectively acquire goods and services for an organization, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and timeliness requirements.

Duties:

– Assist in procuring goods and services for LIMID and Poverty Eradication beneficiaries
– Prepare internal requisitions
– Process payments to suppliers
– Maintain stores records
– Track inventory levels and manage purchasing activities
– Develop and maintain inventory control procedures
– Manage claims and losses
– Receive consignments and documentation from suppliers
– Produce monthly reports
– Undertake any other duties assigned by the supervisor
