COAL WASH PLANT OPERATOR – SETHREN HOLDINGS

VACANCY 

We are seeking Four (4) experienced Coal Wash Plant Operators to join our operations team. The ideal candidates will have at least five years of hands-on experience in operating, maintaining, and monitoring coal processing plants. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the wash plant to meet production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor coal washing equipment, including screens, cyclones, centrifuges, thickeners, and flotation units.

• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on plant machinery.

• Monitor plant performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize output and coal quality.

• Maintain accurate logs of plant operations, production, and downtime events.

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues in a timely manner.

• Work closely with maintenance and technical teams to ensure plant reliability.

• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for plant efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Coal Wash Plant Operator or in a similar role within the mining or processing industry.

• Strong understanding of coal processing and plant operations.

• Technical knowledge of wash plant equipment and processes.

• Physically fit and willing to work in a plant environment, including shift work.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices in mining operations.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mineral Processing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.

• Valid operating certifications.
