KEDK Supplies (PTY) LTD T/A Onesimus Welfare Consultancy & Services is a dynamic consultancy firm committed to delivering impactful research, policy development, training, and capacity-building services across Botswana.

About the Role

Seeking to recruit 10 Research Assistants based strictly in the following locations:

• Gaborone

• Tsabong

• Maun

• Francistown

• Serowe

(2 per area. Applicants must reside in or be based within the specified areas. Preference will be given to local applicants with knowledge of their community context.)

Responsibilities

• Conduct data collection through surveys, interviews, and group discussions

• Accurately record and report data as per research protocols

• Facilitate focus group discussions with diverse stakeholders

• Engage with communities and stakeholders in both Setswana and English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields

Core Competencies

• Demonstrated skills in data collection and record-keeping

• Excellent group facilitation and public speaking abilities

• Fluent in Setswana and English

• Knowledge of ethical research standards and community engagement

Experience

• Prior experience in field data collection or research is mandatory

• Remuneration packages are offered
