We’re Hiring: Instrumentation Business Development Manager
Gaborone, Botswana| Mining & Industrial Automation | Contract

We’re looking for a seasoned professional to lead business development in instrumentation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

● Identify and develop new business opportunities
● Lead RFQ analysis, proposals, and client negotiations
● Manage OEM relationships and product upgrades
● Oversee turnkey project execution from concept to commissioning.
● Deliver post-sales support and technical training to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

● MBA [Business Management]
● Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering
● Previous experience in the mining and manufacturing sectors
● 15+ years work experience s in mining and manufacturing sectors wit industrial instrumentation, automation, and business development.
● Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HART Protocol, and field instruments.
● Familiarity with Modbus, PROFIBUS PA, Foundation Fieldbus.
● Skilled in ETAP, AutoCAD, and Control Builder.
● Proven success in OEM engagement and strategic sales execution.
● Added advantage for experience across multiple African countries
