FIELD SALES ENGINEER – SHARPS

 

Sharps Electrical (PTY) Ltd wishes to recruit a FIELD SALES ENGINEER to work within our retail division.

Candidates are expected to have the following requirements:

• Qualified Instrumentation or Electrical Artisan, NDIP or higher in Electrical or Instrumentation. Trade Test at least N5
• Practical industrial work experience in automation or process control instruments and have in-depth knowledge of the industry
• Proficiency with PLC and network control systems, experience in co-coordinating and implementing projects will be an advantage
• Have process plant exposure and mining industry background both surface works and underground
• Experience in sales is not a requirement but could be an advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES SALES

• Make sales calls to customers and support of all products
• Customer product presentation
• Ensure knowledge of all products is at all a high level
• Assist with functional and trade shows
• Adhere to company strategies
• Prospect new customers/applications
• Manage demo units

Candidates must be dynamic, self-motivated and have held a similar position.

The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate to any site within Botswana.

Remuneration will be market related and commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
