The leading communications brand is looking for a dynamic and creative team player to head our Products and Marketing Division Reporting to the Chief Consumer Business Officer, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth for the Company by maximising revenue through the creation of products and marketing plan that gives the Company a competitive advantage. If you have what it takes, you will be responsible for developing and managing products, services, offers, effective marketing strategies, and plans to effectively manage customer segments and related value throughout the customer lifecycle.
You will develop plans to establish our brand and also ensure that our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts. Your other key deliverables include budgeting, pricing and margin strategies. driving the advertising activities, pioneering market research, creating and leveraging strategic partnerships, and collaborations to create value for Mascom.
You must have in-depth industry knowledge, project management skills, market intelligence and analytical skills, as well as the ability to provide strategic leadership and conceptual thinking A demonstration of competence on customer orientation and stakeholder management, decision making, commercial acumen and organizational awareness, problem solving and analytical thinking, as well as the ability to coach and mentor your team to achieve their objectives, is essential. Your ability to influence, build networks and collaborative relationships is critical for the successful execution of your mandate.
In addition, you win develop and deliver annual plans and contribute to the corporate strategic business plans as a member of the leadership team whfc complying with the quality, safety and environmental standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent
- Preferably in Marketing or Business Management
- Masters in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
- Mininum of 8 years practical work experience in a competitive or Telco industry, of which 4 years must have been in a management role.
- Experience m a Product and or Marketing function is essential.
