Collections Officer (Fixed Term Contract) 12 Months
The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting non-performing customers daily, monitoring & controlling accounts deterioration and taking appropriate actions to normalize the position as per the Access Bank policy regulations.
Key Responsibilities
⦁ Contacting customers according to guidelines and standards to ensure payment
⦁ Negotiating payments while continuing to build a positive relationship with customers
⦁ Ma inta ining customer payment records
⦁ Liaison with branch personnel in monitoring and controlling of customer accounts
⦁ Customer education on Products-mcluding their features and benefits
⦁ Investigate and resolve out of order accounts discrepancies
⦁ Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary
⦁ Daily suspense account reconciliation
⦁ Facilitate restructuring process for qualifying accounts
⦁ CRB updates
⦁ Processing of insurance claims
⦁ Reversals and refunds
⦁ Conduct set off and CL payments
⦁ Send out delinquency SMS’s
⦁ Attend to walk in customers and inbound calls
⦁ Attend to queries and complaints assigned on CRM within 24hrs and 72hrs respectively
⦁ Confirmation of Collection commission fees and charges for Branch settlement quotation requests
⦁ Prepare External Debt Collectors payment schedule and applies the funds to customer accounts on a daily basis.
⦁ Confirmation of LU from other banks for mortgages
