JOB PURPOSE
To provide assistance with the implementation of accreditation and registration criteria and requirements for professionalism, conduct and service delivery in the engineering profession using the appropriate toolkit and updating the register accordingly, as well as, provides guidance and interpretation of the regulations and the different registration standards.
THE JOB
The position will be responsible for among, other things the following;
• Maintaining a central records register by creating files, filing and retrieving information from the toolkit in accordance with set procedures.
• Ensuring appropriate documentation has been submitted for registration before entering into the database.
• Processing renewals of practices licenses using the toolkit.
• Following established procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database.
• Giving recommendations on measures to ensure that access to records is controlled at all times to safeguard the security and integrity of records.
• Conducting verifications of applicants’ documents and liaises with security services companies as necessary.
• Liaising with the Monitoring Department over investigations regarding any alleged professional misconduct of engineers and ensures removal from the Register as approved.
• Liaising with the Standards and Monitoring Departments to evaluate effectiveness and relevance of the registration process and requirements.
• Ensuring that Continuous Professional Development requirements have been complied with before registration and renewal of practicing certificates. Assesses the conformance of standards and processes of the registration of engineers.

THE PERSON
The right candidate will possess the following:
• A degree in Business Information Management, Social Science, Administration or related field.
• At least 4-5 in an administrative position with experience in data mining, database management or analytics.
