CUSTOMER SERVICE CONSULTANT
Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, you shall have a responsibility to ensure that customer orders are received, processed and delivered efficiently as per specifications.

Your principal responsibilities shall include the following:
- Administer all customer orders, provide appropriate discussion with customers for various products and services displaying knowledge of both and further receiving and capturing orders from customers.
- Address all customer issues and resolve all complaints effectively.
- Attend to all customer inquiries through phone calls and emails and ensure appropriate assistance in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Confirm all pricing on orders.
- Invoice all cash sales on site – Chop & bran, all domestic credit sales as well as export sales on site and ensuring that correct documentation is used for cross-border purposes.
- Liaise with customers to ensure that deliveries are fulfilled as per order and order fill report to avoid unnecessary returns and credit notes.
- Minimise pricing claims by ensuring correct pricing on all orders and invoicing.
- Liaise with Debtors Department on status of customer accounts before dispatch of loads.
- File and archive documentation in line with company statutory and internal requirements.
- Maintain a desired level of customer satisfaction to enhance sales activities.
- Compile any reports needed by Customer Service Lead and/or Customer Service Manager.
- Develop and maintain professional relationship with colleagues and stakeholders to provide exceptional customer care services.
- Participate actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs to contribute to company compliance with health, Safety and environmental Policies.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or any business-related degree. Three (3) years post qualification experience. Knowledge of SAGE/ACCPAC is crucial.
The candidate must also have:
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
A high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Ability to work under pressure
Proficiency and competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, power point and Outlook.
