Audit Junior

• Reporting to Audit Senior, successful candidates will be required to:
• Plan and supervise SME audit engagements,
• Assist clients with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),
• Perform special assurance assignments as and when required.
• Establish and maintain cordial working relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Support training and development of junior staff, Including on-the-job, supervision of their work on audit engagements.
• Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
• Experience in internal audit, tax and due diligence assignments will be an added advantage.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting and should be in the advanced stages of attaining a professional qualification (CA, ACCA, or CPA) having a minimum of 3 years experience preferably as an Audit Trainee in a professional firm of auditors and accountants.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of International Standards on Auditing and the interpretation of IFS are essential.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
