Work Summary: The Business Development and Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role by
proactively building market presence, developing business relationships, and collaboratively
working with the marketing department to enhance Unicaf’s market position and revenue
maximisation. The role combines strategic planning, market positioning, operational
coordination, and fostering relationships with a strong focus on business development and
marketing strategies. This integrated approach will help Unicaf achieve its goals and enhance
its market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Implementation:
● Develop and execute comprehensive business plans and marketing strategies to achieve organisational goals
● Collaborate with other company executives and staff to align marketing and business development efforts

Market Position Enhancement:
● Work diligently to improve Unicaf’s market position and stimulate financial growth
● Continuously analyse market trends, providing valuable feedback to adapt strategies
Operational Coordination:
● Organise and coordinate operations to optimise productivity
● Ensure that brand messaging remains consistent across all activities
Lead Generation and Sales:
● Identify and pursue new sales leads
● Take calculated risks based on data-driven analytics to foster sales growth
Customer Insight and Relationship Management:
● Gather and analyse customer insights to shape marketing strategies
● Cultivate deep relationships with external stakeholders to expand market share
Budget Management:
● Prepare and adhere to budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
● Proven experience in marketing and business development roles, with a track record of driving results
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
● Creativity and a strategic mindset to develop innovative marketing campaigns
● Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools
● Knowledge of the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices
