TECHNICAL ADVISOR – Nutri Feeds Botswana

Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd t/a Nutri Feeds Botswana require the services of an experienced, TECHNICAL MANAGER at their Animal Feed Mill in Pilane. Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for guidance on all technical matters to both management and our clientele.

The successful candidate will be responsible for amongst others the following:

• Spearhead the training and development of technical staff.
• Do feed mill formulations with format formulation program.
• Interact with Technical Institutes to keep an edge on available information.
• Gather production information from farmers to use as proof of product performance.
• Give technical feedback on product performance and new products when there is need.
• Keep abreast with new market opportunities as well as evaluation of the market with regards to trends and prices.
• Spearhead planning and coordination of research projects in conjunction with universities and other research institutions.
• Execute any other morally reasonable assigned duties to meet the exigencies of service as directed by management.

• Minimum of BSc (Agric) Animal Science with the relative experience.

MSc (Agric) Animal Science or higher degree will be an added advantage

REMUNERATION:

The position attracts a negotiable competitive market related salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
