An exciting opportunity is available for motivated individuals who would like to work for a growing regional Medical Supplies organization. We are looking for a competitive Medical Sales Representative who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. The Medical Sales Rep will act as the key link between our company and healthcare professionals, and key supply partners. The goal will be to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s wellness and lifestyle products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organising appointments and meetings with community- and hospital-based healthcare staff
  • Identifying and establishing new business
  • Demonstrating or presenting products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists
  • Carrying out all activities as per the company’s overall marketing strategy
  • Building and maintaining good relations with health care professionals, customers, and other end users of the products
  • Ensuring achievement of the company’s targets and the achievement of growth for the assigned products
  • Maintenance of key accounts and establishing supply relationships with key supply chain partners
  • Creating merchandising campaigns in supply outlets
  • Creating and establishing mass media marketing campaigns and activities

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in any science, marketing and/or medical related field.
  • A documented understanding of pharmaceutical/medical consumables industry
  • Experience with merchandising will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/medical consumables industry.
