Key Responsibilities

• Implement account strategies and plans for specific major accounts through negotiations i.e. Pick and Pay, Shoprite, Spar and Choppies
• Liaising regularly with buyers and listing of new products and measure successes or promotions
• Manage inputs of Regional Sales, Account and Category Management, Marketing and Sales Admin, with regard to trade activities
• Implement new sales strategies, promotional plans and price increases and Trade Terms by direct negotiations
• Monitoring Key Account pricing nationally and give feedback continuously
• Accountable for profitability within the area (per chain group) and product price controls
• Manage product margins, volumes and product within and by area
• Operationalize national strategy within the area and adapt national and regional strategy to suit area specifics
• Business reviews and strategy and relationship management
• Analyzing sales data and trends for optimization and sales/volume growth

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent is required to support the application
• 5 years’ experience in FMCG market
• Good negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
• High energy levels and business acumen
• Must be able to take decisions independently
• Product and marketing knowledge
• Fluent business English
