Role Purpose
The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for leading, managing and growing Insure Guard’s Legal Insurance distribution network comprising Sales Representative/Agents, Team Leaders and Cluster Leaders across Botswana.
The successful candidate will drive new business acquisition, improve productivity across the sales force, strengthen sales capability, enhance retention, and ensure the consistent achievement of sales targets aligned to the Company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a nationwide network of sales agents, Team Leaders and Cluster Leaders.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive legal insurance growth.
- Establish sales targets and key performance indicators for all distribution resources.
- Monitor, track and report on individual and team performance.
- Drive accountability and implement performance improvement interventions where required.
- Conduct regular field visits and sales reviews across the country.
- Expand and strengthen the Legal Insurance distribution footprint.
- Identify new sales opportunities, partnerships and recruitment channels.
- Drive sales representative/agent recruitment, onboarding and activation.
- Implement initiatives aimed at increasing policy sales, retention and customer engagement.
- Train, coach and mentor sales representatives on sales techniques, prospecting, objection handling and closing skills.
- Develop and implement sales training programmes.
- Support Team Leaders and Cluster Leaders in managing and developing their teams.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on results and customer service.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable sales plans.
- Support the implementation of business growth initiatives.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights.
- Recommend improvements to products, sales processes and distribution strategies.

Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales Management, Insurance or a related field.
- Insurance qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management, distribution management, or business development.
- Demonstrated experience managing field sales teams and sales supervisors.
- Proven record of achieving sales growth and improving team productivity.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, banking or a related industry will be highly advantageous.
