Senior Structural Engineer and Residential Engineer

A Competent person responsible for the design, preparation of design drawings, (or approval of design drawings prepared by others), accepting construction drawings & erection method statement, inspection of construction for conformity with the Design and including the final professional engineer’s sign-off of the completed structure.

The Senior Structural Engineer should be registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and must have a minimum of 12years past experience on structural steel in a mining environment. The senior structural Engineer must also be competent in preparing a Technical report.

Design of Steel Structures shall be performed by, or under the direction, control and supervision of a Registered Professional Engineer or Technologist who shall accept legal responsibility for the design.

Resident Structural Engineer:

The Resident Structural Engineer should be registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and must have a minimum of 8 years past experience on structural steel in a mining environment. The Resident structural Engineer must also be competent in preparing a Technical report.
