**Job Title:** Branch Manager: Botswana
**Role Purpose:**
This position is responsible to direct and organise the human, economic and material resources of a Branch, meet Branch objectives to deliver growth, profitability, and customer/employee satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Control the implementation of sales and commercial policy in the branch, per the established procedures.
- Promote, motivate, coordinate, and direct the activities of the branch, to deliver the objectives of client satisfaction.
- Coordinate the development and execution of all works, optimize the workgroups, tools, and means to meet the objectives of invoicing, activity, yield, and quality of the works.
- Organize and control the supervision of New and Modern jobs.
- Manage daily sales business operations to achieve sales budget.
- Ensure enough bids and hits are generated (sales cockpit).
- Analyze root causes for deviations and set up corrective actions.
- Ensure target achievement, actions implementation and follow-up and develop corrective actions.
- Control the application of the safety and health guidelines in house and on site.
- Enforce systematic sales management practices with processes and tools applied.
- Ensure the correct sales and booking processes are adhere to.
- Coordinate labor relations in agreements with the effective Labour norms and process in line with local legislation.
- Perform development reviews and performance appraisals for all staff, to identify development needs.
- Actively develop staff (quality, efficiency, customer orientation etc.).
- Develop the technical expertise of technicians.
- Ensure Compliance according to Safety and Quality Standards
- Authorize first level pricing escalation.
- Review pricing decisions and ensure discount decisions in line budget and strategy.
- Control Branch expenses, optimize the management of Branch purchases and stock.
- Apply the company’s financial policies to all Branch activities according to the established procedures and guidelines.
- Providing feedback on project profitability (PPG) to line management.
Requirements
- Technical Leadership Skills – proven record
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the Lift / Escalator Industry
- High level of integrity
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner
- Sales experience will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advance computer skills (SAP knowledge is an advantage)
- Engineering / Business Management Diploma or Degree
- 4-5 years managerial experience
- Trade Test – Lift Mechanic essential
