The CFO will lead financial strategy development and implementation while overseeing all financial and ICT processes of the Company, reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy development and implementation in line with strategic aspirations.
- Oversee all financial and ICT processes of the Company.
- Develop and execute optimal capital and funding strategies.
- Support investment and asset management activities during deal evaluation, negotiation, structuring, and execution.
- Manage accounting, financial and management reporting, taxation, and treasury management.
- Oversee external audits and ICT strategy formulation and implementation.
- Ensure a sound financial control environment and proactive financial risk management.
- Manage key stakeholders including credit agencies, financiers, regulators, and portfolio companies.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals in Key Performance Areas like Taxation, Compliance, and People Management.
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years post-professional qualification experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years in an executive role.
- Experience in the mining investment management sectors will be an added advantage.
