Role Purpose:
The Director, Financial Services is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the university, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the university’s overall mission and objectives.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Accounting or relevant accounting degree.
- A relevant professional qualification, Chartered Accounting, is required (BICA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Master’s degree Accounting, Finance or a related field is required is an added advantage.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in financial management or leadership roles.
- Professional Registration or license
- BICA membership is required.
- Extensive experience in financial management at senior management level.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Proven experience in managing financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning and reporting.
- Proficiency in office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
- Exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities.
