SEKGELE TRAINING HOME SOCIETY is a Gumare community-based Non-Governmental Organization that exists to provide rehabilitation, stimulation and advocacy for children with disabilities in the Okavango District. Being a Non – Governmental and Non – for – profit organization, the society does not have a permanent source of funding and sustains its operations from assistance from donors and well-wishers within and without the country. The society thus invites suitably qualified individuals to fill the below-listed position.
FINANCE OFFICER / ACCOUNTS CLERK, (1 POST), REF: STHM 04/2019
SALARY: C4 (P80 172 – P95 760)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
-Diploma in Accounting and Business Studies (DABS), AAT or related field.
-Should know standard Accounting procedures
-At least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field.
-Preparation of financial yearly budget
-Entering all income and expenditure in Cash Book-Pastel
-Preparing payments for all purchases made for the organization
-Handling of all employees files and keeping records.
-Handling of Petty Cash
-Monitoring expenditure against and allocation the financial budget
-Annual leave for staff
-Handle employees work concerns
-Performs administrative duties and addresses employee misconduct
-Files and maintain records accurately
-Preparing Students Report cooperatively with Special Education Teacher
-Receive reports from all department heads and uses such information to prepare the Society annual report
-Performing all secretarial duties for the Society Manager
-Oversee day to day running operation of the Society
-Oversee short and long term plans and initiatives and help in budgeting activities
-Undertakes any other assignment as directed by Management to meet the exigency of the duty
