Clover Chemical Industries (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Financial Controller. Reporting directly to and working closely with the Group Managing Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for the finance and accounting functions to support and advance varying activities of the Group’s business. The role encompasses forward planning, budgeting and conducting business reviews, focusing on pricing, cost control and margin analysis in a Manufacturing & Healthcare environment. The role offers a significant opportunity for the ideal candidate to play a key role in the Group’s future development.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to and working closely with the Group Managing Director.
- Responsible for the finance and accounting functions to support and advance varying activities of the Group’s business.
- Forward planning, budgeting, and conducting business reviews.
- Focusing on pricing, cost control, and margin analysis in a Manufacturing & Healthcare environment.
- Operating with a “hands on approach” in a fast-moving, close-knit environment.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant area of specialty.
- Qualified accountant and a member of one of the recognized professional bodies such as Chartered/CIMA/ACCA.
- Preferably a minimum of Eight (08) years’ experience and a sound background in financial and management accounting.
- A “hands on approach” is essential.
- Experience in Chemical manufacturing or the Healthcare industry is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in Sage ERP system is an added advantage.
