Key Responsibilities

  • analyze the financial statements of the corporate, and do the credit rating of the proposals to identify the risk profile of the borrower and accordingly arrive at the pricing the loan.
  • He should be able to assess the cash-flow, fund flow statement and latest audited Balance sheet.
  • He should able to arrive at Current Ratio, Debt Equity Ratio, Net Profit Ratio, Debtors Turnover Ratio, Creditors Turnover Ratio, Inventory Turnover Ratio, and Debt Service Coverage Ratio.
  • To comply with various regulatory requirements, more particularly on Exposure norms, Income Recognition and Asset Classification guidelines, Capital Adequacy, Credit Risk Management guidelines of Bank of Botswana/other authorities.
  • To ensure Loan Review Mechanism is undertaken by branches for various borrower accounts as a mechanism to ensure compliance with extant sanction post sanction process/procedures including picking up early warning signals and initiating corrective action to improve the credit quality would continue to be adhered to

Requirements

  • Qualification: Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University
  • Professional qualification-: Certificate in Commercial Credit, Certified Associate from institute of Bankers.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience of working with reputed Bank with international standard with at least 4 years in Branch Banking
