Rainbow Schools invites applications for an energetic and experienced Head of IT to drive the strategic vision, operational management and security of the school’s digital ecosystem. This entails planning, implementation, and management of the school’s IT systems, ensuring reliable infrastructure, secure data, and effective technology integration to support teaching, learning, and administration communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership and Management- Develops and executes IT strategic plan of the school
- IT Infrastructure & Network Management
- Systems & Server Administration
- Educational Technology & Systems- Support integration of technology in teaching and learning
- Cybersecurity, Compliance and Safety
- Procurement & Vendor Management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience in an educational environment and school platforms
- Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to converse with teachers and executive management
