Reporting To: Commercial Manager
Main Purpose of the Job: As member of the Commercial Team, the main focus will be to ensure Lactalis Botswana achieves
profit through the sale of products in our portfolio. Demonstration of good Relationship Management with the trade within the Formal Market: Food services, Retail, Wholesale channels and within the Informal Market.
Key Performance Areas:
Management of sales, merchandising by engaging with Field team daily Apt representation of the organization and ownership of our products.
Management of key accounts including trading terms, pricing, promotions and service delivery
Maintain an excellent communication link with Food Services Industry and Major chain stores, meeting with them and
improve and/or maintain our relationship with them
They will implement sales budget (This will be prepared by EXCO)
Development and implementation of growth strategy for key categories Identifying consumer trends and preferences and assisting with new product development Produces monthly and quarterly sales review and submits regular reports to the business Prepare monthly promotional sales and marketing support grid Development, training and performance review of sales team
Competencies:
Technical Job Knowledge Analytical thinking with problem solving skills Planning and organizing skills Coaching and leadership skills
Good personnel management skills with the ability to discipline
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field At least 5 years of relevant experience
Previous experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is essential
