First Sun Alliance are a leading insurance and financial services brokerage operating in Botswana since year 2000 focusing on short term insurance broking, risk management and financial planning. We are restructuring our operations and service outreach to ensure enhanced personal and efficient service delivery to our clientele.

The post pandemic period has come with adverse business conditions and new ways of doing business. To keep abreast with the new norm and maintain service excellence, we are looking for dynamic and versatile insurance executives to provide sales and marketing services on. primarily, individual life assurance and personal financial planning. Incumbents should also be able to converse and acquire short term and group insurance business.

We want to fill the following positions:

POSITION 1: LIFE MANAGERS

Number of Position to be filled (5)

The Job entails (management of a team of at least ten junior agents) including:

Recruitment – the incumbent should be able to identify and attract individuals with the right aptitude and qualifications to join the Company as new life insurance agents.

Training – the incumbent will on an on-going basis attend to the training needs of his team

• Management- of the team to ensure they adhere to set company guidelines towards meeting set production targets
• Financial Planning-provide high level financial planning service to clients on set targets and guide junior agents on same
• Attend to all other managerial duties as may be directed

Qualifications and experience

Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in long term insurance or similar

• Tertiary qualification at either Diploma or Degree level, preferably in insurance/marketing.
• Proven minimum five years of life insurance sales and marketing service.
• Proven minimum experience of five years at managerial service in same or similar position. Proven knowledge of high-level financial planning on areas including business life, estate planning, offshore etc.
